On Saturday 20th May, after months of behind the scenes preparation we opened the school gates for our second May Fair. We were delighted that so many families came to support this event; a time not only to raise money for a good cause but also an opportunity for King’s College Alicante staff, pupils and families to join together and have some fun.
On stage we were entertained by a wonderful talent show, delightful singing from the Primary choir and energised by a zumba session. Whilst all of this was going on numerous food stalls set up by local businesses, parents and staff were selling their goods. Many people tried their luck on the tombola or other competitions and a vast amount of children braved the Bukin’ Bronco. The day was brought to a close with the raffle draw, well done to all winners!
We are delighted to say that as a result of everyone’s incredible generosity, we managed to raise 5,000€ for the Red Cross!
